Creative Programs for Curious Kids
At INNOPLAY, our North Vancouver programs give kids a reason to look forward to the afternoon. Each one is built around a single idea, so children arrive, dive into a real project, and leave having tried something new. It is play with a purpose behind it.
These sessions suit kids who like to make things: painters, builders, little scientists, and anyone who would rather be hands deep in a project than sitting still.
Unlike an open drop-in visit, a program comes with a theme, a friendly guide, and a clear goal for the day.
Policies
- Registration is non-refundable.
- Late pickups are charged $10 for the first 10 minutes (or any part of it), then $1 per minute after that.
What Makes INNOPLAY Programs Different
Every program here is planned to feel warm, welcoming, and worth the trip. We give kids room to try new materials, share their own ideas, and build a little more confidence each time they show up.
One week it is messy sensory play, the next it is a science experiment, a LEGO build, a craft project, or a design challenge. The theme changes, but the goal stays the same: keep kids genuinely engaged while leaving space for their own creativity to lead.
It is a good middle ground for North Vancouver families who want more structure than open play, without signing up for a full camp schedule or a term-long class.
Program Themes Kids Love
Messy Play: Kids get their hands into textures, colours, and materials that a tidy home rarely allows. It is where curiosity, fine motor skills, and a bit of happy chaos come together.
Creative Crafts: Real projects with real materials, made start to finish. Great for patience, focus, and the pride of finishing something.
STEM Building Challenges: Everyday materials, one problem to solve, and a lot of testing. Early engineering thinking that feels like a game.
Fun Science Experiments: Safe, simple, and just surprising enough to make a kid ask “why did that happen?” and want to try again.
Fashion & Design: Colour, pattern, and styling projects where kids make the calls and show off their own taste.
Seasonal Programs: Around holidays and school breaks, we run themed sessions tied to the time of year, so there is always something fresh on the calendar.
Who Our Programs Are For
Our programs are made for kids who love to make, build, and get involved rather than watch from the side. They are a smart pick for families who want more than open play but less commitment than a full camp.
They are a great fit for kids who like:
- Making crafts and creative projects
- Building and designing with different materials
- Trying simple science and STEM activities
- Exploring sensory play
- Joining themed activities
- Learning by doing, not just listening
- Being part of a small, friendly group
- Growing their confidence through play
Programs vs Drop-In Play
Drop-In Play is the relaxed option: parents stay close, and kids roam the play space at their own speed with no set plan.
A program is a different experience. It follows a theme, has a guide, and points toward making or discovering something specific.
If your child lights up over a planned activity or loves finishing a project, a program is the better fit.
Programs vs Camps
Programs and workshops zoom in on one creative activity or theme for a shorter session. Camps are the bigger commitment: a fuller day with a set schedule, meals or snacks, and several activities back to back.
